CURRENT APPARATUS

ENGINE 582

ENGINE 582 is a 1994 Spartan/3D engine. It has a 1500 gpm pump,  a 1000 gallon tank and 2000 feet of 4 inch hose.  It is set up with all standard engine company equipment, including a thermal imaging camera.  E-582 is our first due apparatus to structural calls.

TRUCK 579

"A STEP ABOVE THE REST"

TRUCK 579 is a 2001 Ferrara 107' rear-mount aerial. It has a 2000gpm pump and a 350 gallon tank.  579 carries a full compliment of ground ladders as well as all other truck company equipment such as saws, hand tools and rope rescue equipment.  T-579 also carries a thermal imaging camera.

RESCUE ENGINE 583

SQUAD

"Got It Covered"

Engine 583 is a 2002 Ferrara. It has a 1500gpm pump and a 1000 gallon tank. It is affectionately known to some of our members as the "SQUAD" due to it being set up as a Rescue/Engine. It carries a full compliment of engine company equipment as well as a combination Hurst spreaders and cutter, basic vehicle stabilization, multiple hand tools and a Thermal Imaging Camera.  E-583 is the 2nd due engine and our mutual aid engine. 

RESCUE 581

RESCUE 581 is a 1998 Spartan/3D Heavy Resue.  It carries our main Hurst tool (Jaw's Of Life) as well as cutters, spreader and rams.  We have a full compliment of Vetter air bags, ice rescue equipment, cold water suits, rope rescue gear, hand tools, and all equipment for our Firefighter Assist and Search Team (FAST).

TANKER 577
(a.k.a. "Tammy the Tanker")

TANKER 577 is a 1987 4Guy's tanker.  It has a 1000 gpm pump and a 3000 gallon tank.  This rig carries a 3000 gallon portable tank as well.  It is used in our non-hydranted area to supply water.

M-578

Brush Unit

Brush Unit M-578 is a 2006 Ford F-350 crew cab chassis with a fabricated fire body built by Finley Fire Equipment Co., Inc. in McConellsville, OH.  It carries 200 gallons of water and 15 gallons of foam in a poly tank skid unit.  It has a high pressure pump, front sprayers, 800' of forestry hose and a 200' booster reel.  It also carries a chainsaw, rakes, brooms and other brush fire gear. 
M-578 is capable of carrying a driver and 4 firefighters as well.

M-576

Utility Vehicle

M-576 is a 2001 Ford F-250 extended cab pick up truck.  It is equipped with the same radio equipment as the Chief's vehicles.  It is used for moving equipment and manpower, public service calls and fire police, (when needed).  It can be used as a spare Chief's vehicle also.

CHIEF'S CAR
CAR 1

The Chief of the Department drives this 2006 Chevy Tahoe.
It is equipped with VHF Low Band, High Band and UHF radios along with an "in vehicle" cross-patch unit.
(This vehicle was built by Major Police Supply, Inc.)

Assistant Chief's Car

Washingtonville Fire District recently took delivery of this 2007 Chevy Tahoe Command Vehicle.  This vehicle is used by the 1st Assistant Chief.

It is equipped with VHF Low Band, High band and UHF radios along with an "in vehicle" cross-patch unit.  It also has a command cabinet and radios in the cargo area.

Washingtonville Fire District's 2nd Assistant Chief operates this 1998 Ford Expedition

It is equipped with VHF Low Band, High band and UHF radios along with an "in vehicle" cross-patch unit.  It also has a command cabinet and radios in the cargo area.
