Retired Truck 579 was an American LaFrance 75' rear mount aerial. This rig was sold to our neighbors at Salisbury Mills in 2003 when we took delivery of our current Ferrara aerial. We are happy this rig is still so close due to its capabilities to get into positions our current truck is unable to due to its size.

Retired Brush Truck M-578 was also a work horse for our department. For many years M-578 was the first apparatus to respond to all incidents due to being small and quick. It had a 250 gallon tank and many of the senior men have told stories about the amount of fires this rig knocked down prior to the arrival of the heavy apparatus. It was placed out of service in 2006 when we took delivery of our current M-578.
